Business (Re)BRANDING
IF YOU ARE A:
● Restaurant or family owned cafe, large or small
● Retail shop or on-line business
● Start up business or been around for years
● Product developer or fabricator and seller

Marketing
Taking a fresh approach to the marketing image and message is the major component in a re-brand. This may include a new logo, or publicized look and message in advertising or on the website, blog or other social media.
Physical Space
Reworking the physical space can be another important element in the re-brand. If this is a store, or restaurant, or other space, and it does not have its own identity that makes it stand out from the rest, it could benefit from a new look, both inside and outside, that follows the determined re-brand theme. The goal is to make the space more appealing, more comfortable, more inviting.
This could include the layout of the space, especially in situations where there are multiple functions, like in-store dining co-existing with a carry-out line. It might be the décor or theming of the interior. It could also be a new look to the front of the building, with updated signage or color.
Product
If the business is product based, and the packaging or labeling, or the name of the product is dated or not very exciting, then the process of exploring new options may be required to make it more appealing. The product can also refer to the food selection on a menu, or a guest experience.
IF YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO RE-INVENT YOUR BUSINESS TO:
● Make you stand apart from the competition down the street
● Get your customers excited again
● Catch up to the trends
● Bring in new business
● Increase sales
● Get more review stars
● RE-BRAND YOURSELF
Guest Experience
Thought should be given to the guest experience if there is contact with people in the business, whether it’s a restaurant or shop. This may include how the guest may be approached and attended. It may also include the appearance of the employee and how it helps promote, or complete the story of the brand.
The Change
These changes don’t necessarily require large investments, just creative thinking and resourceful implementation that is based on a solid goal that is outlined and adhered to. So much of the change can be done by the business owner and team, with direction, as opposed to having contracted help make the modifications. It can be surprising how just a little creative tweaking can have a large impact on the identity and fresh appeal of a business.
Rebranding
When you feel your business needs to make changes to your image or product in order to increase interest in it, therefore increasing revenue, you should think about how you can re-invent, or re-brand your identity or space.
